KUCHING: Hock Seng Lee (HSL) is proud to present At Adau — one of Sarawak’s best and most popular bands — live at La Promenade Mall on Oct 1.
The concert begins at 8pm on the Saturday, and it will be a ticketed event under a marque, separated from the mall’s ongoing Oktoberfest event.
“As a community mall, it brings us great joy to feature At Adau, a seven-piece band that is more-or-less the yearly headliner at the Rainforest World Music Festival. We felt incredibly honoured when At Adau agreed to play at our mall as the feature band of our very first Oktoberfest,” digital marketing manager Sophia Ong said.
At Adau will play a full set at La Promenade. It is one of only two full concerts the band is playing this month. After the La Promenade show, At Adau is staging at Dewan Suarah, “Chimera Odyssey”, concept concert event featuring music, animation and short filmed elements.
“For La Promenade, At Adau is playing a straight forward rock show. We requested them to rock our mall, and they said, yes. I genuinely cannot wait,” Ong added.
At Adau was formed back in 2014 by Lian Ngau and Meldrick Bob with Luke Wrender, Ezra Tekola, Alfanso ‘Fonso’ McKenzie, Cedric ‘C-Dik’ Riseng and their new member Cyril Clement.
Their contemporary sound is loved by the world. They have toured extensively overseas in recent years, performing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and many more.

HSL is staging La Promenade Mall’s Oktoberfest from Sept 16-Oct 9.
It is a community focused event, featuring free fun runs of 3km and 6km, weekend bazaars, neighbourhood recycling days, anchored by a food and beverages festival weekly on Thur-Sun.
Prices are value-for-money with beers from RM12, half roast chicken from RM20, steaks at RM30, and so much more.
All the mall’s halal certified restaurants including SugarBun, NOMS and Taka have special promos during La Promenade’s Oktoberfest as well. While At Adau is event’s musical headliner, other bands including Mosaik.
