La Promenade Mall’s Hoan Gallery will host Under Sarawak Skies: A Special Preview on Tuesday, 23 June, showcasing a curated selection of artworks produced during its largest art expedition to date.
The one-day preview will begin at 11am and run until 6pm, with Sarawak’s Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts expected to grace the event.
The initiative brought together over 20 artists from Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia for a 10-day artistic journey across Sarawak from 10 to 18 June.
Travelling through Miri, Bintulu, Mukah, Sibu, Sri Aman and Kuching, the artists captured the essence of the state through on-site painting, sketching and visual documentation. Their works offer unique interpretations of Sarawak’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and everyday experiences.
