La Promenade Mall’s Oktoberfest launched on Sept 14 to thousands of visitors over the weekend.
Many came for the food and drinks, and even more came for the fantastic live music.
Guitarist and vocalist, Reening & Raquel, opened the show on Thursday and Friday, while At Adau and Mozaik brought the house down on Saturday and Sunday.
Judging by the massive singalongs and dancing, everyone had a great time.
The mall also played host to Kota Samarahan Council member Datuk Sim Kiang Chiok, who was the guest of honour on Saturday, representing council chairman Datuk Peter Minos.

This is the second time that the event has been organised at La Promenade Mall, said HSL. Last year's event was a big success, attracting 2,000 to 3,000 people each night.

Much like last year’s Oktoberfest, this year’s edition saw the return of two popular bands - Mozaik and At Adau. Gastronomes were in for a musical treat as Mozaik performed their own rendition of songs from international bands and artists such as Coldplay and Keane: while Sarawak’s own At Adau had performed their greatest hits.

La Promenade Mall’s digital marketing manager, Sophia Ong said the festival’s stage is larger and equipped with better speakers to ensure the audience enjoys a front-row view. “Besides a great festive atmosphere at La Promenade’s Oktoberfest, also just as great is the live music. That’s why we are sparing no expense for music at La Promenade’s Oktoberfest.
