Hoan Gallery to mark 4th Anniversary at La Promenade's Resort Duplex

Sarawak’s premier art gallery, Hoan Gallery at La Promenade Mall, will celebrate its fourth anniversary this Friday (Oct 31), inviting the public to a lively evening of art and celebration.
“The birthday party will showcase Sarawak’s outstanding talents.
Our gallery has been able to consistently host solo shows — from oil painting to modern interpretive art because there is such a rich local talent pool.”

It will feature a retrospective of the gallery’s past exhibitions, paying tribute to Sarawak’s art scene and the creative community that has supported it since its establishment in Dec 2021.
Gallery founder Kee Huang said the milestone marks four busy years of consistent growth and creative collaboration.

Acara percuma itu terbuka kepada semua dan akan menampilkan retrospektif pameran terdahulu termasuk Dialogue With Our Nature oleh Bong Choo Chew (2023), Hidden Gems: The Life Works of Chong Liew Syn (2024), Colourful Echoes oleh Joanne Lau (2024) dan Come Into Your Own oleh David Chew (2024).
Turut dipamerkan ialah pameran Through the Canvas, Across the Sea yang menampilkan lima maestro dari Semenanjung Malaysia iaitu Dato Chong Hon Fatt, Lee Choon Kooi, Loo Hooi Nam, Tham Siew Moi dan Voon Kim Cheong (2025) serta The Continuum: 3 Generasi oleh Sylvester Weilding Jussem dan Dr Faizuan Mat termasuk penghormatan kepada mendiang RSA (2025).

Hoan Gallery was established in December 2021 with strong backing from HSL, the mall’s developer and the gallery’s main benefactor.
“Our key personnel at HSL are directly involved in the gallery. The directors sponsor shows and often purchase artworks as corporate gifts - recipients are always amazed by these unique mementoes” said Angeline Ong, HSL’s mall leasing manager.

周年庆将展示砂杰出艺术家作品，庆典将于晚上7时在雅景苑Resort Duplex举行。建筑与开发商福胜利集团（HSL) 是画廊主要赞助单位。
活动免费开放予公众入场，届时将回顾过往展览内容。主办当局特邀嘉宾包括砂大学生，政府官员，艺术协会成员，画作收藏者及雅景苑社区居民，他们是画廊最忠实支持者之一。
